Theprimary purpose of this position is to be a machine operator capable of runningmulti-axis conventional and non-conventional computer-controlled machinesaccording to manufacturing and engineering specifications.

　　HowYou’ll Make An Impact:

　　· Set-uppreviously developed jobs for gas and steam airfoil components

　　o Requisitionnecessary tooling and gauging from tool crib.

　　o Receiveassignments, oral and/or written, from supervision

　　o Makemachine edits as approved

　　o Mustdemonstrate the ability to proficiently pre-set tooling.

　　o Measureand make appropriate adjustments to ensure parts meet specification

　　§ Get help as needed

　　o InterpretEngineering Drawings, Blueprints and other Technical Data as provided byengineering.

　　o Roughand finish machining a variety of parts.

　　o Identifyparts machined with hand etcher or dot peen machine deburr parts, as required.

　　o Markand/or record production information, manually or using computer equipment, asrequired.

　　o Notifysupervision of irregularities or equipment malfunctions.

　　o Performroutine maintenance on equipment.

　　o Maintainwork area in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.

　　o Maintaininventory records for steel; charge to appropriate order, as required

　　o Deburrwork pieces and maintain material identification as required.

　　o Checkmachined parts for conformance to print requirements, using precision measuringdevices. Examine machine tools, equipment, and component systems to determinecause of malfunctions, perform remedial action, installation and/or replacementof parts as required to maintain system operation.

　　o Performmachining operations to ensure work is completed in a timely manner inaccordance with Time Standards and/or Target Expectations.

　　o Usecomputer system to access and enter non-conformance data; complete allnecessary paperwork.

　　o Ensurethat equipment is functioning properly by performing daily checks includingscheduled preventative maintenance.

　　o Operatematerial handling equipment including crane.

　　WhatYou’ll Bring:

　　· Requires theability to perform arithmetic skills such as addition, subtraction,multiplication, and division, including decimals and fractions.

　　· Requiresthe ability to read, write, complete simple forms, and understand simplewritten instructions

　　· Somemilling experience and preferably CNC mandatory

　　· Equivalentto a high school education is acceptable, A.A.S. Degree in MachiningTechnology, or its equivalent experience preferred.
