  BE PART OF THE CONNECTIONAs a Principal Engineer I on the this team, you will be responsible forengineering activities that maintain and enhance the company'stelecommunications and signal processing hardware, software and electricalsystems. Works with technical operations staff on system design andconfiguration. Works with design teams and advises team leaders.

  WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUMRequired QualificationsExperience:Engineering work experience - 5+ yearsProject management work experience - 5+ yearsEducation: Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field orrelated work experienceTechnical skills:Basic knowledge of related industry specifications and standards IEEE,ANSI, Fiber (Multimode, Single mode, UTP, etc.), Bridging,Switching, Routing, Ethernet and Transport technologies and protocolsBasic knowledge in network design, network architecture, protocols andnetwork topologyBasic knowledge in TCP/IP and the OSI ModelBasic knowledge in using ticketing and software tools to support the currentoperations.Basic knowledge of network devices and basic network appliances Basicknowledge of network designing software, such as VisioSkills:Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with all levels ofbusiness users in a professional manner.Extensive experience with collaborating and building team consensus wheninteracting with both the leadership and the implementation teams.Abilities:Ability to read, write and speak the English languageAbility to use personal computer and software applicationsAbility to perform duties in a very fast pace environment and ability to learnnew technology quicklyTravel Ability: Office environmentSchedule:Full timeThis position is eligible to work in a hybrid work model (combination ofin-office and remote days)

  Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of company products and servicesCisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)Industry and vendor specific certifications and training preferred (Cisco,Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, etc.)

  The pay for this positi n has a salary range of $110,800.00 to$196,400.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide rangeof factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience andlocation. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms ofcompensation such as bonuses.
