Pay range based on experience Direct hire position .... and more! The CNC Estimator will analyze and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings, estimate costs, and create customer quotes. The position requires five (5) years of Processing & Estimation sales experience in a related product field, blueprint reading, CAD and drafting experience, and 2nd and 3rd stage steel plate processing experience, i.e., machining, grinding, forming, welding, and fabrication. The CNC Estimator will be expected to work closely with production managers, engineers, and sales representatives to meet customer needs while maintaining profitability for the company. Other duties may include maintaining accurate records of estimates and communicating with customers regarding job status and any changes to the original quote.
