Cleaner in our Facilities DepartmentJOB SUMMARYResponsible to meet a high standard of performance for the cleanliness of Mission buildings.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSClean Mission campus buildings thoroughly and efficiently. Maintain accurate building checklists and log documentation. Maintain cart, equipment, storage rooms and supplies in good working condition. Specialized cleaning tasks. ie: buffing, stripping and waxing floors. Respect and use all equipment per supervisor’s and equipment’s operating guidelines. Document and report all mechanical, electrical, etc. deficiencies with equipment/property immediately to supervisor. Minor maintenance tasks. ie: changing light bulbs, changing toilet seats, etc. Assist with grounds keeping to include snow removal, lawn care, etc. Assist with moving furniture, clothing, donations, etc. Assist with pick ups and transporting of items. Use/wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times per the supervisor’s and safety guidelines. Observe safe work practices at all times with chemicals, equipment, etc. Use safety signs and any needed precautionary methods to assure safe standards. Abide by all Mission and program policies, procedures and guidelines. Attend and participate in regular meetings and trainings as requested by your supervisor. Required to complete annual mandatory trainings. Maintain a professional and approachable attitude on the Mission campus. Ability to work flexible schedule to accommodate specialized cleaning tasks.
