  DescriptionChief Executive OfficerNew Rehabilitation Hospital in LynnwoodProvidence Regional Medical Center Everett and Lifepoint Rehabilitation, a business unit of Lifepoint Health, is building a new rehabilitation hospital in Lynnwood, WA. Expected to open in 2024, this 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital (IRF) will operate jointly with Lifepoint Rehabilitation and Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. Lifepoint Rehabilitation (formerly branded Kindred Rehabilitation Services) has contractually managed the hospital's existing rehab unit for the past 13 years.This is a chance to be a vital member of an interdisciplinary team caring for people in Snohomish County who need continued care to recover completely. You have specialized skills and our patients in Lynnwood, and the surrounding area, need them!If you are an enthusiastic individual seeking an environment dedicated to superior patient care and an organization with a strong mission to serve our community, we invite you to apply!Our Benefits:Affordable medical, dental and vision plans provided to meet the needs of full employees and their familiesLeadership PTOTuition reimbursement, continuing education opportunities and apprenticeship programs for eligible employees401(k) retirement plan + company matchFlexible spending and health savings accountsWhat you will do in this role:Provide day-to-day leadership within the organization, including advice, guidance, direction and authorization to achieve the clinical and financial goals and objectives of the organizationDesign, develop and implement a strategic plan that focuses on clinical excellence, financial performance and market and business development in collaboration with the Board of Managers and manages and directs the organization toward the goals of the planCreate and maintain proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures and systems to meet and exceed the clinical and financial goals of the organization included in the strategic planOversee the adequacy and soundness of the organization's financial structure, including reviews of operating results of the organization, comparing them to established objectives and takes steps to ensure appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory resultsMotivate and lead a high performance management team; attract and recruit and retain required members of the team, including physicians, not currently in place and providing mentoring as neededEnsures adequate provision of services through referral, consultation or contractual agreement and negotiates, enter into, administers and modifies and/or terminates contracts (including contracts with Practitioners for the rendering of services at or to the Hospital) for the Hospital as may be necessary, subject to the rights of the Board of ManagersEnsure that all activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulation, Joint Commission standards, CARF and other rehab specialty accreditations, the Hospital Compliance Plan and all laws governing healthcare operationsOther duties as assignedQualifications5 years of successful healthcare management experience preferably as hospital/healthcare facility CEO/COORehabilitation hospital experience preferredBachelor's Degree required, Master's degree preferred; preferred degree in Business, Healthcare Operations/Management or a clinical disciplineMed-Surge hospitals and systems (for profit and non-profit) knowledge a plusPassion for superior clinical outcomes/programs, superior patient satisfaction and partner relationships requiredCompensation is from $180,000 USD - $220,000 USD per year. We would expect those hired into this job would be paid within this pay range, however, certain circumstances may allow us to pay outside of this range
