We are looking for a chief architect to work with our public and private markets businesses, a global asset manager, to enable their digital and growth vision.As the Chief Architect you will lead a small, global team of technology and data architects, who partner with the asset management business and aligned technology teams, to deliver strategic outcomes. In this role you will:* Collaborate with business partners to understand priorities and objectives, develop strategies and technology roadmaps.* Use your knowledge, analytical thinking and thought leadership to drive the technology innovation agenda for the asset management business.* Translate business priorities and desired outcomes into strategic reference architecture and technology roadmaps.* Create principles, policies and a governance approach that ensure the architecture aligns with the business and technology strategy.* Guide and develop the architecture team, to provide a consistent capability across the globe.* Be responsible for key architecture domains, helping the engineering teams design optimal system components, interfaces, and infrastructure.* Build a strong architecture community, actively understanding and participating in the improvement of the broader architecture and engineering practice in Macquarie Asset Management and Macquarie.To be successful in this role you will be an experienced architect and leader, with a passion for delivering innovative solutions.
