Description This role prepares and consolidates financial statements, analyzes and reconciles accounts, analyzes cash flow, creates budgets and forecasts, prepares audits, and manages internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting to attain company goals. How you will make an impact
Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP
Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes
When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests
Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Partake in various department-wide initiatives
Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors Requirements - Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Efficient in ERP systems
Exceptional time management skills preferred
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
Candidate must possess first-rate analytical, quantitative and social skills
Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well
3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
Comprehensive knowledge of Full Cycle Accounting
Deep understanding of bank reconciliations
Knowledge of month end closings
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
