The Channel Partner Ambassador is responsible for leading a cross-functional initiative to enhance Kaiser Permanente’s local office engagements with channel partners across the United States. This role requires collaboration with sales, account management, underwriting, and other key stakeholders to execute Kaiser Permanente’s local office engagement strategy effectively. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to identifying and maintaining a database of channel partner contacts, engaging and negotiating with channel partners to schedule engagements, working with the channel partner to align on mutual agenda and objectives, leading Kaiser Permanente’s cross-functional meeting preparation efforts, presenting in the local office engagements, and capturing notes and takeaways from the engagements which are shared across Kaiser Permanente’s market facing teams. The ideal candidate will foster a highly engaging environment during the local office engagements intended to increase awareness of Kaiser Permanente, provide education around our value proposition, change perceptions, gain market intelligence, cultivate advocates, build relationships, and ultimately support program growth initiatives.

Job Summary:

Business Consulting: Includes analysis/evaluation of business and/or system process and functional requirements, development of business cases, client support during system development and implementation, development and maintenance of service level agreements. Develops relationships with upstream and downstream business partners. Develops/maintains and changes business processes, and understands the business processes of assigned partners and how they relate to our functional areas. Develops and recommends changes to business processes.

Directs/conducts the analysis of current business processes and functional requirements.

Prepares appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information.

May develop project plans.

Identifies and coordinates within other project managers and implements schedule deadlines as appropriate.

Manages common resource demands.

Provides on-going project management and status reporting at all levels.

Provides advice and input into the project plan.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience

Minimum ten (10) years of experience, to include a minimum three (3) years in a consulting role.

Minimum five (5) years of experience in a relevant environment such as a healthcare environment.

Education

Bachelors degree in business/health care administration or related discipline OR four (4) years additional relevant experience.

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

License, Certification, Registration

N/AAdditional Requirements:

Influences multiple cross-functional and/or multiple cross divisional task forces to identify and document functional requirements, workflow, information sources and system/process specifications.

May establish cross-functional task forces.

Thorough knowledge of platforms of the assigned functional areas and multiple cross functionally based on assignment.

Preferred Qualifications:

5 years of experience or more in a market-facing role with a Health Plan or 5 years of experience working as a broker or consultant

5 years of experience or more delivering presentations to external audiences

Outgoing and gregarious personality with strong interpersonal skills

Self-starter that thrives in an autonomous environment

Proven ability to manage cross-functional collaboration effectively

Experience in relationship-building and strategic engagement

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
