CLA\'s Business Software Director (aka Project Leader)is a leader in developing and managing staff, business plans, and fiscalbudgets. The Business Software Director is responsible developing andadministering the business software consulting practice within theregion. They develop and update strategies and guidelines for deliveryof business software solutions to firm clients. Here are the essentialfunctions of the role: Business Software Services: Strategic thinker andproblem solver for the business software team that can clearlyarticulate complex topics. Coordinates and/or resolves business softwareproblems directly with clients or as an expert resource for the businesssoftware team. Oversees technical aspects of development andimplementation of business software solutions for clients. ManagingEngagements: Monitors action plans for multiple projects and delegatesassignments based on individual team member strengths and passions.Works with the Business Software Services Manager to review, correctcourse, and provide quality assurance for projects. Proactively seeksopportunities to build relationships through marketing or othernetworking efforts. They leverage existing relationships to promote newservices to current clients, generates client referrals, and builds newrelationships. Managing Operations: Works with local offices to ensureunderstanding of new initiatives, consistency, and compatibility withbusiness software solutions delivery capabilities. Develops improvementprograms to enhance business software consulting capabilities and growexisting services. Requirements: Experience * Eight years of experiencedeveloping and implementing business software technology solutions and aminimum of three years project management / supervisory experiencerequired. Education * BS/BA degree in computer science, informationtechnology, or a related field required. Certifications / Licenses *None required. Technical Competencies * Proficient in Microsoft Officeproducts.
