Parker Hannifin – Bioscience & Water Filtration Division, located in Oxnard, CA, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lab Scientist Intern to join our dynamic research and development team. As a Lab Scientist Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in a cutting-edge laboratory environment. This internship provides hands-on experience in conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to the development of innovative technologies.
Collaborate with senior scientists to design and execute experiments in accordance with project objectives.
Perform various laboratory techniques, including sample preparation, data collection, and analysis.
Analyze experimental data using appropriate software and tools.
Prepare clear and concise reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory notebooks and records.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Communicate effectively with team members, providing updates on project progress and results.
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Physics).
Strong academic background with coursework in laboratory techniques and scientific principles.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay range from $18.00 to $24.00 depending on experience.
