JOB REQUIREMENTS: Patient Scheduling Specialist - Ophthalmology -University Station Clinic - 28927 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: WorkSchedule: 100% FTE, 40 hours per week. Shifts scheduled Monday throughFriday between the hours of 7:30 AM 5:00 PM. Hours may vary based on theoperational needs of the department. Pay: Pay starts at \$18.91 perhour, work experience that is relevant to the position will be takeninto consideration when determining the starting base pay. We areseeking a Patient Scheduling Specialist to: * Utilize your excellentcustomer service skills to schedule appointments via phone, in-person orelectronic correspondence. * Make an impact on the patient experienceby making it easier for patients to schedule appointments acrossmultiple locations with just one phone call. * Assist patients andtheir families with their appointment scheduling needs. * Make outgoingphone calls to patients to schedule their appointments. * Coordinatewith clinic staff to ensure that patients receive appropriate care in atimely manner.
