  SUMMARY:We are seeking an individual with the desire, aptitude, and abilities tolearn the intricacies and talents of Business Development for a leadingflight simulation and engineering company engaged with Department ofDefense training and simulation systems. You will learn under thementorship and example of experienced Business Development Director(s)while performing in an assistant role with the long-term goal ofgraduating beyond the associate level within CymSTAR.

  You will assist the Director of Business Development for the U.S. Army,U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps in leading CymSTARs growth and expansionefforts; and provide support identifying new business opportunities,fostering strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. TheDirector is responsible for developing and executing innovative businessstrategies, forging strong relationships with key stakeholders, andleading high-performing business capture teams and you would assist andsupport these efforts.

  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Business Strategy and Planning:

  Assist the Director to develop and implement a comprehensive Businessstrategy for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps andInternational market aligned with the CymSTAR\'s vision and goals.

  Assist in analyzing market trends, industry developments, andcompetitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and potentialrisks.

  New Business Opportunities:

  Contribute to Identifying and evaluating new business opportunities,partnerships, and potential markets for expansion.

  Conduct market research and feasibility studies to assess the viabilityof new ventures.

  Support the Director in business negotiations and close strategicpartnerships, collaborations and teaming agreements.

  Sales and Revenue Growth:

  Work closely with the Director of Business Development to align businessdevelopment efforts with sales goals and revenue targets.

  Support the development and maintenance of a sales pipeline, activelypursuing new leads and prospects.

  Drive business development initiatives that lead to revenue growth andincreased market share.

  Relationship Management:

  Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, partners,and stakeholders.

  Cultivate a network of industry contacts to enhance the company\'svisibility and reputation.

  Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networkingopportunities.

  Team Leadership:

  Support and assist Capture teams to achieve goals.

  Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that promotescreativity and success.

  Financial Analysis and Reporting:

  Assist in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting related tobusiness development activities.

  Work closely with the Director of Business Development to establishannual budget.

  Support development and updating of regular reports to the VicePresident of Business Development, highlighting progress, challenges,and opportunities.

  Other Duties:

  Duties as required to effectively support CymSTAR business developmentobjectives.

  QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to performeach essential duty satisfactorily.   EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelors Degre e (B.S.) in Business, Marketing or related fieldrequired. Any experience or familiarity with US military services isdesired, but not required.

  LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common professional literature.Ability to comprehend and clearly communicate in English. Ability toeffectively present information to supervisors, and colleagues. Strongverbal and written communication skills are essential, along withattention to detail and accuracy.

  MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to comprehend and calculate ratios and percentages, Ability tocomprehend and apply principles of modern algebra.

  COMPUTER SKILLS:Proficiency with Microsoft
