Job Description:
Responsible for performing chemical dependency evaluations, participating in contributing to interdisciplinary treatment and discharge plans and providing individual and group chemical dependency counseling services. The chemical dependency counselor works with clients age 18 through geriatric. The counselor will have skills to carry out the core functions identified by Minnesota Statutes Chapter 148C regarding alcohol and drug counselor licensure (see addendum). Work Experience: Must have 2 consecutive years sobriety immediately preceding employment if chemically dependent
Education Qualifications:
Documentation of completion of a two-year chemical dependency treatment training program; or, graduate with degree in counseling with emphasis in alcohol and drug counseling preferred.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Possesses Minnesota Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) credential.

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
