The Brand Activation function at WARN sits at the intersection of event marketing and social community management. The objective of this role is to build brand equity for Fabtech Motorsports primarily and secondarily to all sister companies through effective event activation and social media engagement.
This individual contributor role will represent Fabtech Motorsports at consumer and tradeshow events, educate consumers and customers about Fabtech products, lead educational seminars/ classes and ensure the commercial success of our event presence by spearheading product/ merchandise sales and collaborating with the broader marketing team to leverage all exposure opportunities (partners, advertising, consumer engagement) as appropriate.
Likewise, this role will serve as the voice of the brand and manage all aspects of the Fabtech Motorsports social media program, including content production, content strategy, setting and measuring KPIs and reporting out metrics on a regular basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage day-to-day posting, editing and optimization of content on multiple social media platforms.
Drive key brand activations in social media strategy in partnership with sister companies leveraging complimentary brand and product messaging including sponsored influencers and curated user submitted content.
Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand messaging.
Working with the Marketing Director to develop social media marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with the digital experience team to strategize ways to increase social traffic to websites and drive e-commerce sales. Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for product features and positioning.
Interacting with enthusiast fan base, customers and other stakeholders via the company’s social media accounts and at live events.
Evaluate proposals from media properties and industry thought-leaders seeking official partnerships and make recommendations to marketing leadership.
Lead the onboarding of Fabtech partners/ influencers as appropriate and according to current marketing operations process.
Contribute to the company’s digital marketing plan, including monthly communications and social media strategy and identify opportunities and make recommendations for improvements.
Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for post-reach, impressions and engagement and reporting out performance against KPIs regularly.
Researching social media trends and informing leadership of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities.
Develop and Lead Thought Leadership program for Fabtech consisting of product training/ demonstrations at events and content for social media, blog, and marketing collateral purposes for customer and consumer audiences.
Drive key brand activations leveraging our partner/ influencer sponsorships; including seeking ways to drive consumer engagement in 3rd-party channels, and leveraging 3rd-party content to drive engagement in Fabtech channels.
Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about Fabtech competitors and work closely with marketing to drive brand narratives and position Fabtech as an industry leader.
Attend several events throughout the calendar year with extensive domestic travel, including exhibitor setup and tear-down as needed.
Coordinate with marketing to secure relevant displays, collateral, and merchandise as needed to maximize presence at events.

3-5 years of experience in a Marketing role.
Experience with a consumer and/or retail brand.
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams (internal and external), in the U.S. and internationally.
Exceptionally strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas and information clearly and write in various styles for diverse audiences.
A can-do and collaborative approach to ideation and execution.
