Summary This position is located at the Fort Campbell Hooper Bowling Center. This is a "Flexible" position (0-40 hours per week) with no eligibility to participate in the NAF Employee Benefits Plans. Responsibilities Performs routine maintenance on mechanical and electrical bowling equipment. Adjusts equipment in accordance with guidance and identifies potential malfunctions to the Bowling Equipment Repairer. Cleans and maintains the bowling facility by replacing light bulbs; making minor repairs to vacuum cleaners, buffers, etc.; scrubbing, washing and polishing floors, walls and other surfaces. Skilled in the use of electrical test equipment and tools. Working knowledge of manufacturer's diagrams, specifications and schematics. Recognize and report malfunctions. Assists in making repairs, adjusting equipment and related duties. Work under general supervision of the bowling facility manager. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Qualification Requirements are: 1. Be able to lift and carry large items weighing up to 100 pounds. 2. Possess work experience or training in the use of electrical test equipment and wiring diagrams. 3. Be physically able to work for extended periods of time in cramped and awkward positions. FWS Allowances and Differentials This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Regular full-time, regular part-time (to include those in a limited tenure appointment category) and regularly scheduled flexible employees are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 7.5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 2300-0800.
