The School of Education & Human Development will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers for future appointments to temporary, part time, non-tenure-track positions in the School Psychology Program. Lecturers are limited to two courses per term.We are currently recruiting for the following course:SPSY 2200 - Child and Adolescent Mental Health in Schools and CommunitiesThis is a face to face course on the CU Denver campus, in Fall of 2024 or possibly in future semesters. This course is designed to provide undergraduate students with an introduction to child and adolescent mental health in schools and communities. Topics include: the definition, status and trends in child and adolescent mental health, treatment of mental health challenges, and child mental health-related professions. Because school-based mental health services have the potential to bridge the gap between need and utilization by reaching children who would otherwise not have access to these services, the course includes a strong emphasis on school-based interventions and school-based mental health careers.
