Blender/Presser VIT SEG 2nd shift

　　Position Description

　　Job Summary

　　Specific responsibilities include small batch measuring, weighing, blending, loading molds, cold pressing, assembling, reading spec sheets, operating machines, utilizing shop math, inspecting, accurately completing quality and administrative documents and following directions.

　　Required Qualifications

　　• A high school diploma or its equivalency • Ability to utilize a calculator, small scales and measuring instruments. • Ability to read and interpret work orders, charts, and measuring instruments as pertaining to weighing and blending powder, epoxy and bond. • Knowledge and ability to apply sound shop math skills such as ratio and percentages, fractions and decimals. • Must be able to follow written and verbal directions/instructions • Practice safe work habits, maintain equipment and work areas in a 5S environment • Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment • Ability to use variety of hand tools and power tools

　　• Requires good eye and hand coordination, manual dexterity and vision.• Lifting, grasping, carrying, standing, bending, reaching and walking activities are required.• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 40 lbs. frequently.
