Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER (Director of Business Operation) in the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Group, Systems Acquisition Group, Program Management Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of business activities across the Department. Includes hiring plan reviews, business-oriented data call reviews, funding execution, and internal Department audits. You will be responsible for the communication of relevant business information to competency managers at the local and national levels to ensure consistent business execution across the Department. You will develop the requirements for Department quantitative and qualitative business analysis and assessment to evaluate the effectiveness of Department business operations in meeting established Departmental goals and objectives. You will develop business operations processes and policies, and assists the Department Head in the development of National Departmental processes and policies. You will provide tasking and direction for Level II support staff in support of the Department’s business operations and the National Director’s priorities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13-14 grade level or NM-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing a wide range of technical and business systems, processes, and practices used to manage and maintain continuity of business operations; 2) Reviewing, analyzing, and implementing higher level business and resource processes, procedures, and policies; 3) Managing project/program requirements, objectives and metrics, and resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources; 4) Identifying opportunities to incorporate process improvements and best practices utilizing customer feedback, internal and external audits, self-assessment, and lessons learned activities ensuring efficient business operations, financial operations, and general administrative management for the Department ; 5) Advising management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducting special studies, proposing options and alternatives, and representing the Department. 6) Advising leadership and department supervisory and operations staff with regard to EEO policies and communicating support of these policies to department personnel.
