  Job Description

  Billing Analyst at Checkout.com:

  We're actively looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Billing Analyst to join our fast growing Finance team in Mauritius!

  This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and fast paced global company and take part in our little revolution. 

  The successful candidate will be self-motivated with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage tight deadlines. You'll be highly numerate, have strong Excel skills, and be at ease working with large and intricate data sets. 

   

  How you’ll make an impact

  Manual preparation of invoices in Excel for multiple entities across multiple currenciesQuality checking and dispatch of prepared invoices via mail mergeRaising of invoices within Workday FinancialsMaintenance of AR ledgers and associated credit controlInvoice matching payments to Invoices in WorkdayCalculation of accruals and submission to Revenue teamPreparation of partner commissions calculations and reportingRaising of Purchase Orders to support payment of the CommissionsAssisting with monthly revenue and cost of sales reporting to facilitate timely, accurate and relevant management decisions and meet reporting standards and requirementsWorkflow management – dealing with billing queries and requests through Freshdesk ticketing systemWorking with the BI team to enhance and develop internal reporting and revenue analysisSupport the Billing Manager in developing the wider control environment surrounding Billing and revenue reportingWork with the Payments and Reconciliation teams to get monthly/annual information for reporting purposes

    Qualifications What we’re looking for

  1+ years of working experiencePartly qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or qualified by experience within Billing OperationsExcellent knowledge of Excel (required). Experienced in handling large datasets.Highly numerate, with strong analytical skills and ability to work through problems logicallyWorked in an accounts receivable team or part of the billing departmentFluent in English Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsHighly motivated and able to work towards timelines on multiple projects in a fast paced work environment
