Title: Bi-Lingual HR Assistant (English & Spanish)

Description:
The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative support to human resources functions and is the onsite human resources representative. This role will require the individual to interact daily with perspective, new, and current employees as well as leadership, site general managers, business unit managers, and staff supervisors. To be successful in this role the individual will collaborate, assist, and communicate with the human resources manager on all functions of human resources as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Always maintain confidentiality
• Update recruiting module as directed
• Assist with scheduling new interviews
• Follow up with business unit managers and candidates post interview
• Add leads from other recruiting sources to main recruiting module
• Assist with outstanding data entry
• Assist current and newly eligible employees with registering on the 401(k) platform
• Provide guidance to current and newly eligible employees for enrolling in health and wellness benefits
• Follow up on training and task assignments as directed by the human resources manager
• Update employee information areas with content provided by human resources manager
• Assist with onboarding new hires
• Assist with annual open enrollment including follow up on incomplete enrollments as directed
• Support and assist human resources manager and site wellness champions with wellness initiatives
• Support and assist human resources manager with site activities including holiday and employee appreciation lunches, events, etc.
• On site contact for group or coordinated trainings
• Report and follow up with business unit managers on time and attendance to reduce payroll errors
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience using online based HRIS systems is a plus
• Ability to communicate and interact appropriately with coworkers at all levels
• Provide accurate and clear written communication(s)
• Willingness to address small, medium, and large groups of employees as needed
