Case Aide is responsible for the completion of assignments || related to supporting the needs of the case management department in || a timely manner including intake and discharge, SIR, 30 post release || calls, UC property, and background checks. || || #### Essential Functions || || - Duties include: Assists case management with daily || responsibilities, including but not limited to filing, copying, || giving providing phone calls, and data entry || - Completion of SIRs || - Assists with line-of-sight supervision as needed || - Ensures ORR policies and procedures are followed || - Provides reports to Case Managers as needed || - Must ensure that youth are properly enrolled into the program's || internal intake system (WebEOC/UC Portal) || - Complete and secure inventory of personal belongings/valuables of || youth || - Ensure DHS and ORR placement documents are filed and uploaded to || UAC Portal software || - Facilitate incoming/outgoing calls to approved contacts || - Assist with the coordination of legal service provider's 'Know || Your Rights' presentations || - Support Case Managers in documenting client intake case files || with necessary intake documents || - Assist with filing, closing, and with overall daily maintenance || of records found in either the physical case file or UC Portal || - Assist with compiling electronic and physical files for ORR or || State Licensing representatives, upon request || - Assist case management with creating discharge packets with || discharge documentation and provide exit orientation to client as || part of discharge process from the program || - Ensure the follow-up service phone calls are conducted 30 days || after UC's reunification and discharge from program || - Assist with the coordination of travel arrangements for program || staff transporting UC's for reunification or transfer purposes || (may include booking airfare, hotel, and rental car) || - Assist with the coordination of fingerprint services for family || reunification at program-designated digital sites || - Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed or requested by || position supervisor || - Uphold confidentiality in all areas of child and program || operations || || #### Intakes || || - The greeting of new arrivals || - Facilitating the admission process in conjunction with medical || - Providing residents with a Facility orientation || - Reviewing documentation provided by the residents || - Completing the necessary admission paperwork || - Issuance of Facility ID to each resident, Issuance of Clothing, || and hygiene kits || - Identifying the language spoken by the resident || - Identifying any special dietary or religious needs and placement || in the appropriate area || - Ensure each resident has the appropriate release documentation. || - Responsible for releasing any property that has been stored to || the resident upon release || - Confirm that the resident has transportation confirmed prior to || release || - Responsible for providing each resident with required || transportation meals, all medication and any medical || documentation and provide the resident with any required items || set forth. || - Other duties as assigned || || #### Knowledge and Skills || || - Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft || Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) || - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills || - Ability to maintain composure in all situations || - An individual of strong character and demonstrated integrity || - Patience, tolerance, and kindness || - Prioritize and organize responsibilities and duties efficiently || - Work expertly either independently or as a member of a || multi-disciplinary team || - Ability to work flexible hours.
