　　Western Forest Products is hiring for an experienced Benchman Sawfiler at our Columbia Vista Division in Vancouver, WA.

　　Successful candidates will be subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing as well as background checks.

　　RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Fitting and benching both round and bandsaws;Welding on bandsaws;Maintaining guides for both round and bandsaws;Maintaining stellite and carbide teeth, including grinding, replacement and checking of accuracy;Adhering to all plant and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures; Maintaining filing room equipment, such as grinders, tippers and levelers.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS

　　2+ years' experience in saw filing;Knowledge and understanding of saw tooth geometry;Understanding quality control and processes of manufacturing lumber and cutting tools;Experience or understanding of a production environment;Continuously striving to improve processes to add value to the business;Ability to work in a group to solve problems and support other members of the team;Strong commitment to safety values and experience with LOT.WESTERN OVERVIEW
