Job Overview:
The Customer Care Representative assists with the administrative functions associated with the sales order process through phone calls, e-mails and faxes. Provide technical support on products and services. Research and address customer requirements effectively while maintaining Horizon’s image as a leader in customer service. Participate directly with external Customers as well as internal Warehouse, Purchasing, Accounting and Management Teams to analyze problem types and advice on company-wide initiatives that would reduce the number of customer service incidents to reduce cost and to generate a more profitable efficient business.
Responsibilities:
Must develop an awareness and appreciation of Horizon’s business philosophy.
Answer general questions about Pool and Spa Parts and Accessories.
Answer specific questions about the technical application and specifications of the parts in Horizon inventory.
Identify parts from pictures, descriptions and assorted manufacturer numbers that can be crossed to Horizon part numbers that Dealers are looking to purchase.
Identify, suggest, upgrade parts that will complete and enhance the Dealers solution.
Ability and willingness to seize any technical sales opportunities that may present themselves.
Provide assistance to Internal Customers such as Purchasing, Data and Receiving Teams regarding new products, part changes, alternate and substitute parts found in the industry.
Able to coordinate the day-to-day tasks of the team with other teammates.
Receive research and respond to all types of customer service issues consistently following up in a timely manner and in a fiscally responsible fashion.
Communicate individual issues and summaries as needed.
Assist all other departments with customer service related issues.
Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with team members in management, the warehouse, purchasing, technical and accounting departments to assist with customer issues.
Assist with other clerical and administrative tasks as directed.
Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional phone etiquette.Fluent in English, written and verbal.
Ability to multitask in a fast paced active environment.
Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency with above average keyboard skills.
Consistently positive, professional interaction with contacts at all levels.
2 years of customer service experience.
History of good attendance and work habits.
Ability to learn the ‘technical’ aspect of the swimming pool & spa industry.
Pool & Spa Industry experience preferred but not required
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 / hour
