  Role/Responsibilities:

  The Compliance Assistant Vice President (Compliance AVP) will work within the Global Compliance Program Office (CPO). CPO's responsibilities include Compliance Reporting, Project Management Office (PMO), Compliance Training, Horizon Risk, MIS Risk Liaison, Metrics, Risk Assessment, and strategic initiatives for Compliance. This role will be responsible for leading the Compliance Risk Assessment process and will also assist with other functions across CPO, including reporting, metrics, horizon risk, and PMO.

  The Compliance AVP will be responsible for:

  Lead and facilitate the annual Compliance Risk Assessment process, including working with Business Unit Compliance Officers (BUCOs) and Local Compliance Officers (LCOs) to complete the Risk Assessment reviews across MCO, facilitating the calibration process with senior management, and preparing final report-outs

  Develop Regulatory and Compliance metrics, including preparing quarterly updates and working with BUCOs and LCOs and senior management to update, as appropriate

  Prepare Compliance reporting for boards of directors and regulators, and maintain Compliance reporting inventory

  Assist with PMO efforts, including serving as a project manager for certain annual regulatory filings

  Lead the Compliance Horizon Risk process, which is a review of emerging risks and issues, on an ongoing basis, and document, disposition, and track any required follow-ups

  Assist with Compliance Training, including working with BUCOs and LCOs to draft training content and updates, facilitating review processes, and working with Moody's University to roll-out training courses

  Work closely with MIS Risk on various cross-function initiatives, serving as the MIS Risk Liaison

  Maintain the Global Compliance Obligations tracker, which tracks ongoing Compliance commitments, and report on upcoming deliverables ahead of deadlines

  Develop operating procedures for key processes following best practice models

  Maintain records related to CPO responses to regulatory filings and ensure consistency in approach

  Qualifications:

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills and project management experience

  Degree preferred in related field

  Ability to manage tasks to meet project deliverables on time and error free

  Ability to analyze current processes and workflows and make substantive suggestions for improvement

  * Expert in the Office suite, particularly Excel (charts, graphs, VLookUps, etc.), Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Access, SharePoint, and Power BI and Automate a plus

  For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is [[$129,200]] to [[$187,400]] , depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
