  Pay range: $52,000 - $87,568

  Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.

  Location : Flexible within MA, CT, NY, VT, RI, PA

  Purpose/Objective :

  Provides relationship management support to Line of Business (SBA Lending) in monitoring and servicing an existing portfolio of complex loans and borrowing relationships. Continuously evaluates operational and financial performance to maintain portfolio quality and risk rating accuracy. Interacts with customers as well as bank employees to address credit and deposit service related matters in a satisfactory manner. Assists Lending Officers in all aspects of servicing customers.

  Key Accountabilities :

  Portfolio Size/Composition

  Assists Relationship Manager(s) (RM) with the management of a defined portfolio of existing Commercial Customers with revenues between $1MM and $100MM

  Customers may have unique and/or more challenging banking needs

  Customers may require specialized knowledge/industry expertise (SBA)

  Portfolio Monitoring/Maintenance

  Assists RM in the proactive management of the portfolio to ensure early detection of material changes in customer performance

  Manages all reporting delinquencies including ongoing tracking via Baker Hill/Stuckey to ensure timely receipt of all financial, collateral, borrowing base, insurance, letter of credit and documentation exception/post-closing information including scanning information into Vision Content

  Completion of Annual Reviews for relationships periodic file memos, modifications and waivers per policy under the direction of the VP Portfolio Quality Manager

  Enters Line of Credit advance/pay down requests in SharePoint

  Ensures Credit File completeness in FCM

  Credit/Analytical Skills

  Credit Trained or equivalent level of experience

  Knowledge of SBA SOP 5010 and 5057 commensurate with experience

  Ability to assess financial performance and risk including identifying ways to mitigate risk to the bank

  Solid working relationship with Credit Partners to ensure ongoing credit quality of portfolio

  Underwriting as necessary

  Strong working knowledge of Loan policy and proven ability to adhere to sound risk management/pricing practices as well as to all internal and external credit/regulatory requirements

  May have specialized industry/market knowledge consistent with portfolio (SBA)

  Customer Service/Support

  Provides excellent customer service

  Ability to resolve customer problems independently

  Site Visits/ customer calls as assigned

  Deal Structuring/Loan Closing

  Ability to review most loan documentation with minimal guidance from RM

  Assists team with Loan Closings/Modifications and post-closing follow up

  Partner Relationships

  Demonstrated solid working relationships with internal partners including Credit, Documentation & Loan Specialists, Risk Management, Cash Management, Private Banking, Wealth Management, Retail, Insurance and Home Lending

  Interacts with partners with minimal supervision

  Product Knowledge

  Solid knowledge of Commercial Credit Products and Services

  Developing well-rounded knowledge of products sold by internal partners including Cash Management, Private Banking, Wealth Management, Retail and Home Lending

  Ability to identify various cross sell opportunities and make solid product recommendations to meet customer needs

  Networking/Community Involvement

  As Assigned and congruent with X Team objectives and community involvementSpecial Projects

  Assists with all special projects including Loan Review/Regulator Audit preparation, ongoing due diligence, industry research and portfolio scrubs as needed.

  Conducts Archer Testing as appropriate

  Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one’s duties.

  Education :

  BS Degree in Business, Economics or Finance or 10+ years in a banking career including financial analysis or loan workout as a prerequisite

  Equivalent financial experience

  Experience :

  Minimum of 5+ years of Commercial Credit/Banking and/or related experienceSkills & Knowledge :

  Solid written and verbal communications skills

  Ability to present identified issues and recommended solutions to RM/Senior Management/ORC/ELC as appropriate

  Strong computer skills

  Ability to work as a member of team
