　　Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Aviation Maintenance Technician: Flight Line Mechanic to join our team in Everett, WA.

　　Position Responsibilities:

　　Troubleshoot, inspect, test, repair, service aircraft and engine systems to prepare aircraft for flight.

　　Perform Quality functions such as Customer/FAA Coordination, Configuration Change Verification, Conformity Inspections, Airworthiness Inspections (including Pre-flight and Post-flights), Corrective Action and Investigations.

　　Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.

　　Perform Aviation Maintenance Technician Inspector tasks in order to obtain and maintain knowledge, skills and required certifications.

　　Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.

　　Perform audit/surveillance of all manufacturing and quality assurance processes, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.

　　This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

　　Security Clearance & Export Control Requirements:

　　This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

　　Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

　　Must be a minimum of at least 18 years of age.

　　Minimum three years of aircraft maintenance experience on complex jet powered aircraft with military, airline or certificated repair station background.

　　This position requires an individual when working at heights to utilize fall protection equipment that has weight limitations.

　　Must be able to work any shift, overtime and holidays as required.

　　Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

　　Prefer a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate preferred. Please note your certificate number on your resume if you are certified.

　　Preferred three years of avionics and/or related aircraft electrical experience.

　　Preferred five years of aircraft maintenance experience on complex jet powered aircraft with military, airline or certificated repair station background.

　　Relocation:

　　This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

　　Shift:

　　Candidates must be willing to work any shift assigned.

　　This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinist (IAM-751) Collective Bargaining agreement.
