POSITION STATUS:
FULL-TIME, hourly
Overnight shift 9:00 PM – 4:00 AM, Including weekends and holidays.
Afternoon shift 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM, including weekends and holidays.
Floating shift will have a regular schedule, which deviates when coverage is needed on another shift.
(Please note: ALL new hires will train for 4-6 weeks, during the day shift 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Supervisor position oversees a designated department/service line and is responsible for the production, safety, and performance of employees within that department. Engage with employees to complete all daily tasks for the designated service line. Coordinate day-to-day activities of crew, train/coach new employees, observe work procedures, and inspect completed work to ensure adherence to quality, efficiency, and safety standards. Complete daily shift reports documenting completed work, any accidents/injuries, or issues/incidents. Manually remove and replace leather and fabric aircraft seat covers and deep clean leather aircraft seat covers. Both leather and fabric seat covers must be stretched, pulled, and tugged repeatedly and forcibly to ensure a secure fit. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Inspect materials and part numbers to ensure they match the proper aircraft that will be serviced and load material into the vehicle.
Stage parts on designated aircraft, remove and replace seat covers in an orderly fashion.
Seat covers are tightly fitted and attached with heavy-duty velcro and will require significant exertion to be used when removing and replacing.
Bag dirty seat covers and remove them from the work area; place dirty covers into laundry bins to be sent to the dry-cleaning facility.
Inspect, identify, scrub, brush, and wipe leather seat cover with a towel damped with a diluted solution of chemicals (based on airline specs) and water, to perform ink wipes and deep cleans on leather seats.
Remove and replace seat pocket material, test and cross seat belts, and clean the area if necessary.
Inspect and evaluate the quality of work completed.
Clean up the workspace following each service.
Practice safe work methods and perform other related duties as requested.
Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures.
Be physically present in the workplace and available to work on all scheduled days/times to meet workload productivity standards.
MUST HAVES FOR THIS POSITION:
At least one full year of airfield experience, preferably supervising airfield agents.
Valid driver's license for at least 1 full year.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Able to attain an airport security badge, allowing you access to all areas in which Flightline operates.
Available to work weekends and holidays
Proficient English is required.
Must be physically capable to execute the duties of this labor-intensive position.
Must be able to perform repetitive upper body movement while pulling 50 lbs. constantly and over 50 lbs. occasionally.
A safety-conscious work approach is required.
Be physically present in the workplace and available to work on all scheduled days/times to meet workload productivity standards.
Able to take direction from supervisory staff.
Able to follow airline-specific guidelines with tasks pertaining to the seat care management process.
Able to work floating shifts and/or extra hours to satisfy operational needs.
Self-starter with a high-energy work style and positive demeanor.
Highly organized and attention to detail required.
Required aptitudes: Math – basic mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, etc.)
