Genesis10 is seeking an Associate Legal Specialist for an on-site 12-month contract position with a leading client in Morristown, NJ. This role pays $19-21 /hour W2 based on experience.

　　Job Description:

　　Associate Legal Specialist is responsible for providing in-person support to the Legal Department with managing physical files in Morristown, New Jersey, where the position is located, and may be asked to provide remote support with managing physical files elsewhere. This temporary position reports to the Managing Counsel, State Regulatory. All tasks will be performed under the direction or supervision of an attorney.

　　Job Duties: Coordinating file management, including the ability to read and comprehend legal documents, dockets and case files in order to catalogue, organize, and summarize regulatory litigation files in a meaningful way.Assisting with the development and execution of a file retention program, which may include electronic or hard copies, on or offsite, and cataloguing, etc. Requirements: High school diploma or GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum 2 years professional work experience with legal background required.ABA Paralegal Certification or equivalent preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive) and Adobe Acrobat.Experience in working with state public utility commission or administrative agency matters preferred.Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.Strong attention to detail required.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
