  Director, Sales and Marketing

  Job Summary:

  We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Sales and Marketing to lead and oversee all aspects of our sales and marketing programs and activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic goals, managing sales teams, and driving business growth through effective marketing campaigns.

  Essential Job Functions:

  Manage and actively participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for all Sales and Marketing programs.

  Assume management responsibility for all services and activities of the Sales Department, including sales tools, materials, proposals, sales calls, and contracts.

  Develop and achieve sales objectives by setting quotas, approving sales pitches, and delivering product presentations to the sales staff.

  Create, evaluate, and forecast marketing campaigns and promotions.

  Perform market analyses to maintain advanced knowledge of the industry, competitors, and company products and services.

  Develop and implement performance management programs with KPIs and tools to oversee team members' performance and project completion.

  Provide on-site training, coaching, and skill development to Managers, Supervisors, and contract sales organizations.

  Analyze sales and marketing trends with recommendations for improvement.

  Communicate and update the executive team on business opportunities, results, trends, and competitive information.

  Enhance the sales process by coaching sales representatives for superior customer satisfaction.

  Participate in the development and administration of the annual budget.

  Create and implement business-building programs for direct sales through collaboration with the marketing team.

  Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including EEO guidelines.

  Requirements

  Job Requirements:

  Education and Experience:

  Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field – required.

  10 years of progressive practical related work experience – required.

  7 years of business-to-business marketing experience.

  Key Competencies:

  Proven leadership and management skills.

  Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  In-depth knowledge of sales and marketing trends.

  Ability to develop and implement effective business-building programs.
