Fluid Biomarker and Bioanalysis Specialist (Clinical Biomarker Department, Experimental Medicine, Global Clinical Development)
Being part of a group of biomarker specialists that are key assets in clinical development from early to late stage is a great scientific adventure! Your experience on assay validation for specific context of use and bringing fluid biomarkers into clinical trials might be just what we’re looking for.
Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?
You will be in charge of deciding on relevant assay validation parameters and acceptance criteria to fit the context of use and collaborate with the CRO to ensure a fit-for-purpose analytical validation of high quality; identifying relevant specialized CROs for method validation and analysis for new fluid biomarkers; interact closely with internal stake holders to understand the intended context of use, establish the necessary methods to develop the biomarker strategy meeting the required expectations, and assure the good interpretation of the ultimate results.
You will also provide input to nonclinical and clinical study plans for fluid biomarker sample analyses.
The development and validation of biomarkers in neurology, including neuroimmunological disorders, is very challenging, requires high-level of competence, and across-function interaction within the organization.
This makes the position a unique opportunity to directly contribute to the development of new treatments for specific disease indications with clear unmet need.
