Position Details:
This position will conduct and lead quantitative and qualitative research in agri-food system sustainability as part of multidisciplinary teams. Required to conduct integrated participatory research and outreach on topics related to Sustainable Agriculture and Sustainable Food Systems in both Spanish and English. Strong research and analytical research skills as well as communication skills in Spanish and English are required. This position will require prior knowledge of agroecology and food system sustainability in Washington and an extensive understanding of USDA grant programs in order to seek funding, collaborate on, or lead ongoing research and education projects. The work will require extensive experience working with multilingual audiences and a strong background and focus on DEIA and improving access to CAHNRS.
Required Qualifications: Masters in field related to Sustainable Agriculture or Agroecology and 5 years practical work experience in sustainable agriculture or agroecology
Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in Sustainable Agriculture or Agroecology- Related Field

Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.
