Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a highly motivated Associate Financial Analyst to join our 787 Financial Analysis team in North Charleston, South Carolina .
The Associate Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the 787 Financial Analysis team, specifically focusing on Business Operations for the revolutionary 787 Dreamliner. This position will involve leading financial activities, collaborating with various teams, and contributing to the overall success of the 787 program.
The successful candidate will:
Act as the lead finance focal for 787 Business Operations, serving as the primary interface for the Business Operations director and team
Manage the budgeting process, including monthly performance reporting, Opportunity & Risk (O&R), and annual budget development
Coordinate with program customers and Financial Analysis Verticals (Labor, Non-Labor, and Indirect) to ensure accurate financial system inputs and conduct variance analysis
Handle ad hoc requests, including executive reviews, support ratios, charge lines, etc.
Champion change and actively drive process improvements as part of the Financial Analysis team's ongoing transformation projects
Provide support to manufacturing and quality, including storage sites, and act as a backup for the manufacturing and engineering focals
Position Responsibilities:
Perform general analysis of resource forecasts for annual budgeting
Reconcile data from multiple sources and performs general support of: resource forecasts budgets, functions or pools
Extract data and compiles routine performance reports and assist with preparing variance analyses
Develop and maintains cost performance measurement baselines
Assist in developing business cases using appropriate indices
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, business or a related field
Experience in a business-related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Manager)
Experience in Excel (i.e. formulas, pivot tables, linking worksheets)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience working in or supporting industrial engineering (IE)
Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate data in Senior Leadership briefings
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $64, 600 - $72,500
