The ideal candidate is a smart, passionate technologist with extensive knowledge of Kubernetes both in the data center and the cloud who wants to bring together the best of development and operations. We seek to blend software engineering with systems engineering to design, develop, run, and scale the next generation of systems for a global company that demands scalability, reliability, and innovation.
As a valued member of the team, the infrastructure engineer will be responsible for supporting the core Kubernetes platform and related computer, networking, and storage environment in our data center. The team member should possess strong technical and communication skills to partner with IT teams to manage and maintain an enterprise data center. The ideal candidate must have the ability and motivation to expand their technical knowledge and skills through a combination of formal training, self-directed training, and on-the-job experience.
Responsibilities:
Transform large sets of data into simplified, meaningful, and actionable trends and visualizations to support the business.Analyze, design and develop dashboards and/or reports following best practices and guidelinesPresent data to business users to help them make informed decisionsWork with technical data teams to test and validate data sourcesTrain end users on how to use dashboards and other reports that are createdSupport business improvements through analyticsEstablish relationships with business users with the Global Operations department and technical teamsBe creative, curious and innovative with a drive to always be learning and improvingProvide ongoing support of reporting and analytic reports, needs and changesTranslate business questions into reporting/analytical requirementsSupport key business stakeholders to design metrics to measure performanceCollaborate cross functionally across multiple levels of the organization
Requirements:
Proficient English verbal and written communication skillsBasic Problem-solving skills and analytical techniques methodsBasic Presentation skills, ability to professionally communicate (verbal and written) at all levels of the business with professional confidence and maturity.Strong Work ethic, positive energy, and a commitment to preserving the company core values and culture.Reviews overarching project timeline and develops a schedule of tasks to achieve project milestones.Keeps relevant stakeholders informed of progress toward or changes to task timing that impacts the project schedule.Creates clear, concise, and organized communication materials (e.g., policies & procedures, guidelines, presentations, messages)Creates plans to use collected data that will increase efficiencies across the teamUses advanced analytical models and tools to analyze and understand big data setsUtilizes resources to complete tasks; tracks own efficiency using reports and toolsDistinguishes between activities and tasks that add differing levels of value; begins to determine potential improvements to impact quality.Performs complex data analyses and presents findings and performs complex data analyses and presents findings on the underlying principles, reasons or fact.Basic ability to understand and manipulate data from a variety of sourcesBasic ability to utilize analytical tools like Excel, Tableau, Power BI or other analytical visual solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
General familiarity with a Supply Chain Operation model, is preferred
