Associate Automotive Technician
Position Summary
The Associate Automotive Technician is an entry-level role that assesses vehicles to accurately diagnose equipment failures, removes and replaces parts as necessary, and repairs any necessary mechanical or electrical issues. This position will perform routine maintenance and will be given the opportunity to work on several domestic and foreign vehicles. Technicians will learn specialized diagnostics and repairs of engines, electronic systems, drive trains, suspensions, brakes, heating & air conditioning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Uses manual and computerized diagnostic methods to identify and isolate issues and potential problems Performs quality routine services and maintenance including oil and tire changes Repairs or replaces worn, old or defective auto parts Tests parts and systems to ensure they are working correctly Keeps accurate logs of all work performed Complies with Dent Wizard safety practices, policies and protocols Maintains a clean work area and ensures equipment and tools are in safe, usable condition Assists with the training, development, and mentoring of less experienced Auto Technicians Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
6+ months professional experience as an automotive mechanic Sound problem-solving skills Desire to work in a team environment
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The starting base pay is expected to be between $18.00/hr. - $26.00/hr. We offer a competitive & comprehensive benefit package including: paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and 401k match (50% on the dollar up to 7% of employee contribution).
