　　ResponsibilitiesProvide assistance to the Executive Director in administering/facilitating the JMP Fellowship programs - https://jmp.princeton.edu/fellowships to include:

　　* Support the selection process and mentor the Madison Program's annual Visiting Fellows and Postdoctoral Research Associates* Provide guidance for the fellows' research and publication agendas, and act as a point of contact for fellows’ job searches* Assist in the selection and hosting of lecturers and panelists for JMP eventsProvide assistance to the Undergraduate Program Coordinator by:

　　* Supporting events in the Madison Program Undergraduate Fellows Forum - https://jmp.princeton.edu/fellowships/undergraduate-fellows-forum* Offering Freshman Seminars - https://frs.princeton.edu/ when approved* Teaching courses in the Politics Track in American Ideas and Institutions (AIIP) - https://politics.princeton.edu/track-american-ideas-and-institutions with the approval of the Dean of Faculty and at the invitation of the Department.* Precepting when possible in lecture courses in the DepartmentProvide executive oversight of Madison Program summer seminars - https://jmp.princeton.edu/academic-initiatives/summer-programs and academic year special initiative events (Politics and Statesmanship - https://jmp.princeton.edu/academic-initiatives/initiative-politics-and-statesmanship; and Freedom of Thought, Inquiry, and Expression - https://jmp.princeton.edu/academic-initiatives/initiative-freedom-thought-inquiry-and-expression)

　　QualificationsESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

　　* Terminal degree in Politics, Law, or other politics-related fields* 7+ years of experience in working in higher education or related area* Excellent research and writing skills* Record of politics-related scholarly publications, both articles and books* Demonstrated expertise in American political institutions and American and Western political thought* The successful candidate must be well organized, attentive to detail, and able to respond to deadlines in a timely manner.

　　Prefererred Qualifications:

　　* Related experience in undergraduate teaching and administration
