DBASuburban Landscaping and Lawn Maintenance located at 1604 East End AveChicago Heights, IL 60411, (708) 799-6228 is seeking 12 temporaryfull-time Outdoor Power Equipment and Other Small Engine Mechanics towork at 1604 East End Avenue Chicago Heights, IL, Cook County, 60411,from 04/01/2024 to 12/01/2024 to Diagnose, adjust, repair, maintain oroverhaul small engines used to power lawnmowers, chain saws, blowers,weed eaters, and related equipment. Research and recommend the purchaseof replacement parts. Explain and instruct workers on repairs andequipment usage. Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs 25 yds and handleextreme temperatures. No prior education or experience is required. Onthe job, training will be provided. \$22.37/hr. Approx. 40 hours/week,from Monday to Saturday 7:00am - 5:00pm. Applicants may be offeredhigher than the advertised. The wage rate may vary on experience and/ormerit. \$33.55/hr for overtime. Up to 10 hours of overtime may beavailable but not guaranteed. All deductions from the workers paycheckwill be made as required by law. The employer will use a single workweekas its standard for computing wages and pay Weekly by check. Anyadvances will be deducted with the consent of the employee. In the firstworkweek, the cost of transportation (including meals and to the extentnecessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be directlyreimbursed to every worker. If the worker completes 50 percent of thework contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker fortransportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to theplace of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the workeris dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the workersreasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home orto the place the worker originally departed to work, except where theworker will not return due to subsequent employment with anotheremployer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workersvoluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportationpayment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical andreasonable common carrier for the distances involved. In the firstworkweek, daily subsistence for travel to the place of employment willbe reimbursed at a rate of at least \$15.46/day to a maximum of\$59.00/day with receipts. Also, workers will be reimbursed in the firstworkweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and otherrelated fees, including those mandated by the government (exceptpassport fees). The employer will provide workers at no charge alltools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
