Lead and influence API lifecyclediscussions. Establish, aggregate, and share team standards andpractices across department, including work with Jira, Jira Align, andTrello team tools. Mentor, guide and coach engineers within theirdivision for job performance as well as technical and leadership growth.Recruit, hire and onboard talent, ensuring the right mix of talentwithin team. Manage team size / design and budget. Ensure productionstability, monitoring, and root cause analysis for their products.Qualifications: Bachelor\'s Degree in Software Engineering or relatedfield or equivalent experience 6-8 years of professional experiencerequired 3-5+ years of experience working with modern engineering tools,languages and practices. 2-5+ years of experience leading engineeringteams including: Growing engineering abilities in others. Developingfuture engineering leaders. Providing direct feedback and performanceevaluations. Strong understanding of the API lifecycle from design toretirement. Proficiency with building tools in Java, JavaScript,GraphQL, RESTQL. Proven track record of successfully designing anddelivering significant and impactful technology solutions. Experiencedeveloping and leading solution delivery using agile methods. Solidunderstanding of the organizations primary domains and businessfunctions. Capability for communicating between product, engineering,and the business. Ability to successfully communicate to both technicaland non-technical audiences in varying forms and levels of detail.Leading teams to collaboration.
