JobOverview We have a newly created opportunity for an IT Manager, AssetManagement to join our corporate IT team. In this role you will beresponsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of Komatsu\'s IT assetsensuring efficient utilization, compliance with policies andregulations, and optimizing the value derived from our technologyinvestments. This includes influencing planning to align technologyinvestments with business goals, and enforcing policies for assettracking and compliance, managing vendor relationships and contracts,and optimizing financial aspects of IT asset usage. Additionally, themanager plays a critical role in supporting asset management software toensure data accuracy driving financial decision-making and securingcompliance with Komatsu IT asset management policies. Key JobResponsibilities Asset Lifecycle Management: Oversees the procurement,deployment, maintenance, and retirement of IT assets; implements bestpractices for asset tracking, inventory management, and disposalprocedures. Planning: Develops and implements a comprehensive IT assetmanagement strategy through collaboration with key stakeholders,including but not limited to IT Infrastructure and Service Deliveryfunctions, to understand business requirements and forecast futuretechnology needs. Policy Compliance: Ensures compliance with softwarelicensing agreements and regulatory requirements; develops and enforcespolicies and procedures related to IT asset management.
