　　The hotel boasts 269 tastefully decorated rooms, each thoughtfully designed to reflect the hotels neighborhood story, the story of Dubai creek. Other facilities that our guests can enjoy include an infinity pool deck, fully equipped fitness center and our neighborhood café and bar, both offering seamless service and array of experiences reflecting this expressive neighborhood.

　　We are proud to boast over 200 pieces of locally sourced art and we need a diehard art enthusiast to create meaningful connections between the art and the hotel’s guests and visitors alike.

　　The mission of the Art Manager is to contribute to the growth of Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown as a destination for art and culture, and to be the first choice for guests who look for new experiences.

　　Your Day to Day

　　In a nutshell, as an Art Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all art related activities in the hotel and develop the most unique revenue stream in the hotel. You will curate and lead all art initiatives and offerings and ensure every guest in the hotel can enjoy new experiences through art.

　　You will curate exhibition projects featuring Emirati and UAE-based artists, from conceptualization to event organization through to PR and communication.

　　You will create and implement sales strategies for all the Art in the hotel, conduct F&B Art events, Art Tours, overlook and drive the Retail Concept Store.

　　You will conceive and execute art related workshops and classes along with other art related revenue generating activities as part of an Art Calendar.

　　You will collaborate with the Marketing and PR team to create ads and collaterals to drive the exposure of the concept store and to sell the art tours and related workshops.

　　You will research high profile and homegrown brands where there is potential business for collaborations.

　　You will develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for art activations defining clear guidelines and processes to ensure smooth coordination, approval, and supervision across different departments.

　　You will network extensively and build strong relationships in the art community to promote Hotel Indigo as an art led destination. You will generate profitable new business through prospecting within the local art community, to achieve monthly Art Tour, workshops and Retail targets.

　　You will maintain a close relationship with potential and existing art enthusiasts and potentially turn them to hotel guests and art clients.

　　At Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown, we are now seeking a polished and lively Art Manager to join our gang. As the first lifestyle branded hotel of IHG in the Middle East, this exciting project really is something to be part of. This is a great opportunity for talented Hospitality, Art and Sales professionals to step up in their career and experience a new challenge in a trendy lifestyle brand.

　　You'll report directly to the General Manager and you’ll play a big role in supporting the overall success of the hotel.

　　You should be an art savvy, self-motivated individual, with a fun personality, who can think outside the box.

　　You should have an excellent entrepreneurial mindset, be autonomous and pro-active.

　　You should be passionate about Art and Design.

　　You should have notable experience in dealing with art (curating exhibitions, selling fine arts, writing artists’ statements and concepts).

　　You should be able to develop efficient strategies to support the hotel’s unique position as the first boutique art hotel in Dubai.

　　Have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

　　Have excellent organizational skills and a methodical approach to completing tasks.

　　Sales and project management skills are a plus.

　　A Bachelor’s degree in Art or Design is a plus.
