Description
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, designing, implementing, and supporting our network infrastructure. Your expertise in DNS, Networking equipment, telephony, active directory, and virtual access control will be essential in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our network systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and related hardware and software.
Design and implement network solutions based on business requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, including but not limited to DNS, connectivity, performance, and security concerns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network systems with other technologies and platforms.
Perform regular system upgrades and enhancements while adhering to best practices and industry standards.
Implement and manage virtual access control and authentication mechanisms to ensure network security.
Administer and support telephony systems, ensuring seamless communication across the organization.
Manage and optimize Active Directory services, including user access, permissions, and group policies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field; or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of experience working as a Network Engineer, with a strong focus on DNS, Cisco (or similar), telephony, active directory, and virtual access control.
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with network protocols, routing, switching, and security concepts.
Proficiency in troubleshooting network-related issues and implementing effective solutions.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, etc.) are preferred.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
