  Responsibilities

  Provide technical leadership in the planning, design and architect phases of software or hardware development.

  Provide technical expertise and direction for the development of complex hardware and software projects.

  Assist with decisions based on the highest degree of technical complexity and thorough understanding of the implications across the organization.

  Translate application and end user system requirements into technical requirements.

  Analyze and solve complex problems, making recommendations as needed, applying creative, in-depth technical and theoretical knowledge.

  Define strategies for networking, server platform, desktop services, and security required to support relevant technical environment.

  Lead orientation and planning review sessions with the local Information Technology project managers.

  Technical Skills:

  In-depth knowledge of various infrastructure components, including servers, storage systems, networking, virtualization, and operating systems.

  Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their services, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS).

  Experience with designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions.

  Proficiency in infrastructure automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

  Understanding of network design principles, protocols, and security.

  Knowledge of data center technologies and best practices.

  Familiarity with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

  Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements related to infrastructure design and management.

  Soft Skills:

  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify infrastructure needs and propose appropriate solutions.

  Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and other IT professionals.

  Leadership and project management skills to lead infrastructure-related initiatives and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

  Ability to stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to infrastructure architecture.

  Requirements

  Education:

  High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

  3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

  Additional Preferences

  A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

  5-10 years of experience working in infrastructure design and implementation roles.

  Enterprise Architect Certification, TOGAF or equivalent

  Healthcare experience is a bonus.
