We are 29,000 strong,working together across 1,500+ pet care centers, 250+ Vetco Total Carehospitals, hundreds of preventive care clinics, eight distribution centersand two support centers."The Colorado pay range for this position is from $13.00 to $17.50 perhour.Exact rate of pay will be based on position and experience level."What you'll do:- Ensure that proper aquatic care and husbandry is being provided to ouraquatic life in the store.- Act as the primary resource in their assigned store regarding all aquaticlife education and care.- Responsible for the achievement of the store's budgeted sales goals bydriving sales in the aquatic life areas. This will be accomplished byeffectively assisting customers in the proper selection of aquatic life andmerchandise in accordance with their specific needs. This position willreceive day to day direction and coaching from the Companion Animal DepartmentManager.- This job is composed of a variety of different tasks that are covered byoperational guidelines. Individual judgment is occasionally required tocomplete assigned tasks.

　　Essential Job Functions:The incumbent must be able to perform all of the following duties andresponsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation.

　　Have a strong interest in animal welfare and possess a high level ofknowledge of aquatic life care and husbandry.Interact professionally and effectively through verbal and writtencommunication with all professional contacts with emphasis on companyinterests.Be comfortable and proficient handling and caring for aquatic life ofvarious types and species.Independently prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks within establishedtimeframes such as caring for aquatic life, maintaining proper waterquality, setting up an maintaining displays and merchandise kits for saleand placing aquatic life orders.Performs all aspects of point-of-sale service, e.g. cash sales, creditand check sales, returns and exchanges. Performs the daily balance of cashdrawer as necessary.Completes cash register transactions as well as guest carry-out serviceconsisting of merchandise weighing up to but not exceeding 50 pounds per trip.Maintain honesty and integrity in the work area.Move merchandise up to 50 pounds.Must be able to work evenings and weekends.Supervisory Responsibility:None

　　Work Environment:The majority of job duties are conducted indoors, although customercarryouts and veterinarian visits will require that an employee leave thestore briefly. Because this position requires bending, kneeling, movingmerchandise (up to 50 pounds, as necessary) and standing for longperiods of time, there may be risk of injury resulting from not followingprocedures. Ability and willingness to work a minimum of 20 hours per week andflexibility in scheduling of work hours including evenings and weekends tomeet
