　　Responsibilities

　　As a part time Acute Care APRN or PA with Trauma and General Surgery, you will have the opportunity to provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision of a physician. You will work closely with the Trauma Surgeons on call.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Obtains patient history and performs assessment. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures.

　　Provides and documents direct treatment and management of health conditions.

　　Provides counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.

　　Nurse Practitioner

　　Required Credential(s):

　　Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing.

　　Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing.

　　acute care certification upon applying strongly preferred

　　Preferred Credential(s):

　　BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).

　　Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration.

　　Education:

　　Master's degree of Nursing requiredPhysician Assistant

　　Required Credential(s):

　　BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90days) of hire date or job transfer date.

　　Licensed Physician Assistant credentialed from the Texas Medical Board.

　　Certified Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of PhysicianAssistants (NCCPA).

　　Preferred Credential(s):

　　Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).Education:
