  DESCRIPTION OF WORKThis role requires you to possess strong interviewing and crisis intervention skills for conducting field visits to assess the level of care needed by the consumer. These visits can be in community cases or long-term care settings. Prioritizing tasks is important, but flexibility is also necessary to respond to emergency situations. You should be familiar with community support services and have good relationships with consumers, outside agencies, the public, and colleagues. Additionally, you will assist walk-in consumers with form completion and handle administrative tasks such as reports, travel vouchers, and participation in meetings and trainings.

  Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.   Six months as an Aging Care Manager 1 or a County Caseworker 1; orSuccessful completion of the County Social Casework Intern program; orSix months of professional human services or nursing experience; and a bachelor's degree in social sciences, behavioral sciences, human services, or a closely related field; orAn equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:You must meet the .
