　　Duties: Summer prune trees, driving farm vehicles, bin repair, tree nursery work, hand thinning, orchard maintenance, picking up rocks, apple harvest and use tractor to bring apples out of the orchard, trimming trees, spraying and mowing using tractor, harvest strawberries.

　　Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, handtrucks, forklifts or transfer augers. Mix specified materials or chemicals and dump solutions, powders or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery. Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers. Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions.

　　Manipulate controls to set, activate and adjust mechanisms on machinery. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines and irrigation equipment. Adjust, repair and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust and spray crops. Walk beside or ride on planting machines while inserting plants in planter mechanisms at specified intervals.

　　Operate trucks or other multi purpose vehicles to transport workers from housing whether on or off the farm to the farm properties; haul tools, supplies or crops; transport workers from place to place around the farm properties during the workday including on public roads to reach the farm fields; and/or transport workers to the grocery store, bank, or laundry facilities on an as needed basis. Those that are requested to drive will be required to possess an appropriate license, no one will be rejected for this position that does not possess a drivers license.
