BlueHalo is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support multiple programs within the Advanced RF Systems (AFRS) division. BlueHalo is looking for a systems engineer to assist with developing the techniques, systems, subsystems, and design elements required to implement next generation digital beamforming systems for military applications. As a BlueHalo systems engineer, you will be a key member of an integrated team operating in a very dynamic environment. As part of a larger team, you will work across many engineering disciplines to help define requirements, build system architectures, and provide overall systems engineering support for multiple programs.
Essential Functions:• Working within the systems team to define the system/subsystem requirements to ensure an achievable design• Operate/communicate efficiently with software/firmware engineers, mechanical and electrical design engineers, and engineering analysts• Work with the Systems Lead to flow system/subsystem level requirements to the different engineering teams utilizing the JAMA requirements management tool• Work with one or more multi-disciplined teams to achieve system design, integration, SIL integration, and off-site tests• Support failure investigation utilizing structured problem solving techniques, document troubleshooting, and communicate and implement resolutions• Work with the Systems Test Team to ensure proper requirement Verification and Validation (V&V) methodology and execution• Support the generation and execution of the Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP).• Ability to create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation (test plans, ICDs, system models, etc.)

You’re required to have this
Required Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in (Engineering or Physics) with >4 years of experience or master’s degree (Engineering or Physics) with >2 years of experience • Experience in RF System design, Verification, and Validation • Experience specifying, allocating, and deriving requirements • Experience with integration and test plans as well as system level ICDs • Must be able to get a U.S. Department of Defense Secret Clearance with the ability to upgrade to a Top Secret.
Preferred Education and Experience: • At least 3 years Systems Engineering Experience • Experience with Phased Array Antenna design • Experience working in cross-functional teams • Requirements Management (JAMA), MBSE (Cameo), Data Processing (Matlab and Python), Configuration Management (Arena)
