JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for performing the highly skilled, discipline specific, tasks required to ensure the smooth operation of Universal Orlando Facilities as it pertains to all chiller plant equipment. Advanced understanding of chiller plant (CEP) operations. Complete understanding of control automation and chilled water alarming systems. Maintain good housekeeping practices and standards for all mechanical rooms and central energy plants. Complete assigned documentation (labor and Maximo). Understanding and actively participate in EHS responsibilities by following UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

　　MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Perform advanced repairs, service, troubleshooting and maintenance. (Example: chiller overhaul).

　　Perform basic repairs, service, troubleshooting and maintenance. (Example: chiller sensors, oil filter, oil replacement, pump seal replacement as well as motor bearings.

　　Provide mechanical and technical guidance and expertise to CEP Operator I, II, III and CEP mechanics II & III’s to improve the education, experience and skill set within the department.

　　Log operational conditions of chillers, towers, and pumps.

　　Interface, communicate and oversee with third party contractors/vendors with infrastructure repairs, upgrades, repair or replacement of chiller plant equipment, underground mechanical utilities as required by management site wide.

　　Interface with the BMS department to modify set points or chiller plant sequences. Assist BMS with troubleshooting and repair of the BMS systems in the chiller plants.

　　Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

　　Performs other duties as assigned.

　　EDUCATION: Technical school is required.

　　EXPERIENCE:

　　5+ years’ experience in industrial and commercial construction, maintenance facility or a fast-paced service company dedicated to HVAC repair on chiller plant equipment is required.

　　Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

　　CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

　　A valid Florida Drivers’ License is required to operate company vehicles.

　　Certification of Training issued by either a State Regulatory Agency or construction trade school is required.

　　(Journeyman’s License) Universal EPA Required
