Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field; 3 years related experience.
Job Description:
To provide professional guidance, supervision, and coordination in the administrative duties of a department.
Job Duties:
Plans, organizes, and coordinates administrative duties for multiple teams.
Assist with personnel management functions such as recruitment, and on-boarding for a department.
Participates in gathering information for departmental budget planning and development.
Partners with departments Financial Analyst to manage warranty renewals.
Coordinates procurement of equipment and supplies and manages all phases of acquisition cycle including monitoring encumbrances.
Acts as the Key Control Officer and serves as the primary contact for the department with UTMB Police Tech Ops.
Collaborates with BOF regarding building repair requests.
Serves as the departments primary Trusted Requester.
Acts as departments primary timekeeper and conducts Kronos training for new hires or refresher courses for active employees.
Works with the Academic Enterprise Service Center (AESC) and processes requests in Power.
Assist team members with travel request including preparing cost estimates, requesting travel authorizations and submitting receipts for reimbursement.
Interprets rules, regulations, and policies and executes as applicable.
Assists administrator in attaining goals and objectives.
Conducts special projects and reports.
Supports office staff.
Adheres to internal controls established for department.
Performs related duties as required.
