　　Position Overview

　　This position provides a clean, safe, attractive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

　　Essential Functions

　　Perform 10-step general cleaning procedures . .

　　Performs routine cleaning duties in assigned areas, using appropriate chemicals and equipment, including patient and exam rooms, discharges, restrooms (including showers), offices, and public areas.

　　Sweeps and wet/dry mops floors, vacuums rugs and carpets, and replaces vacuum cleaner bags as required. Including spot cleaning in corridors. Dusts all horizontal surfaces and furniture. Wipes, and/or dusts window blinds and shades as appropriate.

　　Cleans high-touch surfaces including but not limited to: doorknobs, light switches, electrical outlets, faucets, and sinks.

　　Restocks disposable supplies and soap in restrooms.

　　Cleans inside refrigerators and outside of refrigerators.

　　Gather and disposes of trash, both general and medical, in designated areas as per policies.

　　Performs immediate action steps in case of an emergency per departmental guidelines.

　　Keeps work area in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.

　　Performs other duties assigned.

　　Skills/Qualifications

　　Able to read, write, and understand spoken English thoroughly

　　Ability to work most evenings, weekends, and holidays
