About Administrative Assistant

  Description

  Kforce's client, a growing CPA firm in Juno Beach, FL, seeks an Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant will be one of the main point of contacts for clients, and must be able to address concerns as appropriate and answer inquiries in a timely manner. Proper planning and a keen eye for detail will be imperative to ensure that the office is properly maintained. It is essential that the Administrative Assistant works alongside our tax team and assist with the preparation of taxes during our busy season. Responsibilities: Answer all incoming calls and transfer calls to appropriate staff and to our other offices Welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner Order office supplies as necessary and keep inventory of office Keep conference room and general office area neat and tidy at all times Open and process all incoming and outgoing mail (USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.) Schedule appointments for Partners and help make travel arrangements as needed Scanning, faxing and filing as needed Maintain office equipment and request machines to be serviced by vendor as neededTax season duties include, but are not limited to:

  Scan, fax and file incoming and outgoing tax information as required Prepare office bulk and non-bulk engagement letters Monitor hard file information storage (Trusts, Estate Taxes) Tax return processing: prepare tax folder, mailing, Print/PDF, CD or USB copies of tax returns and contact clients as needed E-file: extensions and tax returns and tax processing Assist clients with signing required documentation at tax return pickup. Time & half OT over 40 hours

  Requirements

  3+ years of administrative experience out of a Public accounting firm Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with QuickBooks preferred Experience with CCH Axcess software platform preferred Tax preparation experience a plus

  The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

  We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

  Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.

  This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
